Childhood Stroke Awareness

hemiplegia, hemiparesis

Song of the day.

He's My Son by Mark Shultz

Cameron is having a lot of seizures. We are going to have an MRI next week to see what is going on in his sweet brain of his.  Thoughts and Prayers to all those that suffered a stroke at birth or childhood and epilepsy.

I'm down on my knees again tonight,
I'm hoppin' this prayer will turn out right.
See, there is a boy that needs Your help.
I've done all that I can do myself
His mother is tired,
I'm sure You can understand.
Each night as he sleeps
She goes in to hold his hand,
And she tries
Not to cry
As the tears fill her eyes.

Can You hear me?
Am I getting through tonight?
Can You see him?
Can You make him feel all right?
If You can hear me
Let me take his place some how.
See, he's not just anyone, he's my son.

Sometimes late at night I watch him sleep,
I dream of the boy he'd like to be.
I try to be strong and see him through,
But God, who he needs right now is You.
Let him grow old,
Live life without this fear.
What would I be
Living without him here?
He's so tired,
And he's scared
Let him know that You're there.

Can You hear me?
Am I getting through tonight?
Can You see him?
Can You make him feel all right?
If You can hear me
Let me take his place some how.
See, he's not just anyone, he's my son.

Can You hear me?
Am I getting through tonight?
Can You see him?
Can You make him feel all right?
If You can hear me
Let me take his place somehow.
See, he's not just anyone.

Can You hear me?
Can You see him?
Please don't leave him,
He's my son.

More Songs

By now many of you reading Cameron's webpage....know that if I hear a song that touches me it is on here.   I heard this one today driving my sweet Cameron to school.  With Cameron having tests done in the hospital for seizures, more medication, school work is hard for him, I heard this song.  For some reason it just hit me hard.  I do focus a lot on the negative.  It is easy to get caught up on the down side.  But what if I look at the positive. The bright side of everything in our lives. The miracle that he is and his brother.  For one day "What if it all goes Right!"

Melissa Lawson Lyrics - What If It All Goes Right  http://www.melissa-lawson.com/ song playing on her webpage

What if that road that you’re taking’s a dead end
What if love leaves you all jaded and broken
What if that limb breaks you’re climbing out on
Yeah, what if it all goes wrong

But, what if it all goes right
What if it all works out
What if the stars line up
and good luck rains down
What if you chase your dreams
and it changes your whole life
Yeah, what if it all goes right

What if that road is a beautiful slow drive
what if that love ends up lasting a life time
what if that limb holds you, oak tree strong
what if this time nothing goes wrong

What if it all goes right
What if it all works out
What if the stars line up
and good luck rains down
What if you chase your dreams
and it changes your whole life
Yeah, what if it all goes right

What if you climb to the mountain top
and touch the sky
grab a cloud as it passes by
you might fall you might fall
but then again you might fly

What if it all goes right
What if it all works out
What if the stars line up
and good luck rains down
What if you chase your dreams
and it changes your whole life
Yeah, what if it all goes right
